While we’re not at all surprised with Goodell’s decision to uphold the suspension (remind me again why it makes sense that Payton could only appeal directly to the man who set the punishment?), it’s good that he was able to get another two weeks with the team because of it. Let’s hope that before the 16th, we see Drew get resigned and Bill Parcells tries on a spiffy new Saints hat.
